The Buck Country Pub is located along Kiln Lane in the idyllic rural area of Paythorne.

The clients brief was to design an aesthetically pleasing sheltered external dining area to the frontage of the building, whilst protecting the aesthetics and character of the existing building.

The design consists of an oak framed verandah enclosed with a low-level decorative balustrade, with a glazed roof to ensure the existing building is clearly
visible behind the verandah whilst allowing large expanses of natural light to enter the proposed dining area and existing building. The design ensured the character of the building is maintained, providing a positive visual impact and ensuring a positive relationship between the original property and proposed verandah when viewed from the street scene.
